What if I don't know the parents' exact birth time?
Time of birth (時辰 / two-hour precision) is OPTIONAL in Yude. If you don't know it, the algorithm computes the chart from the remaining three pillars without the hour pillar, and the analysis runs with reduced precision. The reduction is real but not disabling: the year, month, and day pillars carry the largest share of the structural signal in the parental-compatibility layer. You can correct or update the birth inputs in the tool at any time; we do not refund on the basis that you later realised the time was unknown or different.
How accurate is the analysis?
Yude applies the classical framework consistently and reproducibly. It does not claim, and we do not warrant, accuracy of any predictive kind — see our Disclaimer. The "favourability" score in the tool is an interpretive ranking under the framework, not a statement about future events.
Will Yude tell me my child's future?
No. Yude does not predict your child's future. The tool identifies dates whose chart structures the algorithm scores as more favourable under the specified framework; it does not assert that any particular outcome will or will not occur.
Is my data shared with anyone?
We share your data only with Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting yude.io), and Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong (hosting the yude.hk mirror), each under a written processor agreement. We do not sell personal data. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
What do I need to provide?
The mother's and father's dates of birth are required. Times of birth (時辰 precision) are optional and improve precision if you know them. You also create an account with your email address and a password, which is what your access is tied to.
How do I access the tool after payment?
As soon as Stripe confirms your payment, ongoing access to the interactive calendar is activated on your account. There is no waiting and no human review step: sign in, enter the parents' birth data, and explore candidate dates with filters and favourites whenever you like.
How long does my access last?
Your one-time purchase grants ongoing access for as long as Yude operates — there is no expiry. Your account data and inputs are retained until you ask us to delete your account; see our Privacy Policy.
What does it cost, and is it a subscription?
Yude is a one-time purchase of HK$688 that grants ongoing access. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are limited to a few defined cases — technical failure, billing error, non-supply of required data, and any non-waivable statutory right. We do not refund for change of mind or dissatisfaction with the recommended dates. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.
Is Yude fortune-telling?
No. Yude is a data-and-algorithm tool that applies a classical framework transparently to rank candidate dates. It does not make predictions and is provided for informational and cultural reference only.
