Refund Policy

1. Our refund posture

Yude is paid digital content: a one-time payment grants immediate, ongoing access to the interactive tool. Because full access is activated immediately on successful payment, we do not offer refunds based on change of mind, dissatisfaction with the analytical content, or your subjective response to the dates the tool scores favourably. We do offer refunds in the four narrow cases set out below, and we honour any non-waivable statutory right that applies in your jurisdiction.

2. When we do refund

(a) Technical failure: if access is never activated after successful payment, or the tool remains unusable after we have made a good-faith attempt to resolve the issue within 48 hours of your first written report to contact@yude.io, you may request a full refund.

(b) Billing error: if you were charged a duplicate amount, the wrong amount, or an amount you did not authorise, you may request a refund of the erroneous portion on production of the Stripe transaction reference.

(c) Non-supply of obligatory data: if you decline to supply data we have marked OBLIGATORY in the Privacy Policy and have therefore not been able to receive any analysis, you may request a full refund.

(d) Statutory: any refund mandated by an applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be contracted out of.

3. When we do not refund

For clarity, we do not refund in the following situations:

4. EU and UK consumers: digital-content withdrawal

If you are a consumer ordinarily resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract for digital content. To enable immediate access to the Yude tool, the checkbox you tick at the Stripe checkout records both your prior express consent to the beginning of performance before the end of the 14-day period, and your acknowledgement that, once performance has begun, you will lose your right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU as transposed in your Member State. If you do not wish to give that consent, do not place the order.

5. The acknowledgement you give at checkout

Before the Stripe checkout opens, you tick a single checkbox confirming the following:

☐ I have read and agree to Yude's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer. I confirm I am 18 years of age or older. I understand that Yude is digital content to which access is granted immediately on successful payment, that I expressly request immediate access before the end of any applicable withdrawal period, and that I acknowledge I will lose any statutory right of withdrawal once access has been granted. I understand that refunds are limited to the cases set out in the Refund Policy.

We record, against your Stripe order ID and for not less than 3 years, the policy version identifiers shown to you, the UTC timestamp, your source IP address, your user agent, and the exact checkbox text displayed.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email contact@yude.io with your Stripe order ID and a short description of which of the cases in section 2 applies. We will acknowledge within 5 working days and decide within 14 working days. Approved refunds are issued to your original Stripe payment method and typically settle within 5–10 business days of approval depending on your card issuer.

7. Chargebacks

Card-network rules require cardholders to attempt to resolve the dispute with the merchant before filing a chargeback. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please email contact@yude.io first; we resolve substantively the great majority of refund requests within 14 working days. If you nevertheless initiate a chargeback, we will submit to your card issuer: the policy bundle you accepted (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Disclaimer with version hashes); the checkbox capture (timestamp, IP, user agent, exact text); the Stripe transaction record; the access log, including when your account first accessed the tool and from which IP; and any correspondence with you.
